2026 Rules and Classes:
The track will NOT be USRA sanctioned in 2026
We will primarily use USRA Rules with the following exceptions: Modified, Jr. Limited, and Eco Mod
Factory Stock = 2026 USRA Rules (Headers allowed)
Limited/Bmod, Stock Car = 2026 USRA Rules
Eco Mod, Jr. Limited = Same as 2025
Modified = Open rules allowing USRA, TOMS, IMCA, USMTS. No Muffler Required. Tires: G60 Hoosiers & American Racer KK704 are legal. Grinding, Grooving & Siping allowed. Mix and match any way you choose. (Similar to 67 Speedway rules)
Paid Pit Parking: In an effort to help fund continued facility improvements, paid pit parking returns in 2026 for $150. There are no Legacy holds on spaces, they are assigned via payment on MRP. All spots are good for every 2026 event, except the Super Tex 600. All unsold spots will be first come first serve on race days.
Paid parking will be released in a couple days.
Facility Improvements for 2026: For our General Admission Fans: Expanded concession stand to increase service and quality. New covered awning for concessions and bathrooms. New lighting in the parking lot and entrance.
For our drivers: New Whelen safety track lighting. New LED traffic light for the staging lane. Added a fryer in the pit concession to serve more menu items. Scales have moved to a new tech area outside turn 2 in a new lighted area.
We continue to work on developing the kart track for 2026. We have no timetable, but will keep everyone posted.
Staffing Changes: With the purchase of Rocket Raceway Park completed in May 2025, new owners have begun to build out the 2026 season. With that they would like to thank Kevin Rogers (KR) for his role as General Manager in bridging the gap between Kevin Sustaire’s and their ownership. Randy Merchant will become the new race director. Raymond Ramsey will continue as the facilities manager.
